Description

This splendid Venetian villa dates back to the end of the sixteenth century and is immersed in the heart of Valpolicella country a few kilometres from the centre of Verona and Lake Garda. The villa consists of a central structure with three floors above ground and two side wings each with two floors above ground. The central area is characterised by an impressive tympanum and a two-flight tuff staircase. The interiors reflect the typical Venetian layout with large living rooms, some of which are partly frescoed and painted with “temperoni”, and decorated wooden coffered ceilings. The living area is approximately 2200 square meters with 12 bathrooms and 8 parking spaces within the garage. The villa is surrounded by appurtenant land which is used primarily as a garden. Possibility to build a swimming pool. Verona historic center was built in Middle Age in a bend of the Adige river. It is known to be the city of Romeo and Juliet, the characters of Shakespeare’s opera, and it is no coincidence that it hosts a 16th century building called “Juliet’s house”, with a delightful balcony overlooking a courtyard. The Arena of Verona, the great Roman amphitheater of the first century, hosts concerts and operas.
